Learn Belline Cards
Flashcards & quiz for all 53 cards
Learning the Belline is a two-layer exercise. The first layer is the 53 individual cards — each with a named, concrete domain (Honors, Inheritance, Departure, Love, Lawsuit…). The second layer is the planetary structure: each card belongs to one of the seven classical planets, and recognising that grouping is what unlocks the deck. The flashcards below let you cycle through cards by number, by name, or by planet; the quiz mode tests both meanings and planetary attribution. We recommend starting with the daily card practice for a week to settle in, then switching to small-group drills (one planet at a time — Jupiter's 7 cards, Venus's 6 cards, etc.) until each group reads as a cluster rather than as separate cards. A complete learning curve usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for the deck to feel natural: one week per planet, then a final week mixing all 53 cards together in random order. The Blue Card #1 deserves a separate moment of attention — it sits outside the planetary system as a universal benefic and behaves differently from every other card. Pay extra attention to Saturn's 15 cards: they form the dramatic backbone of difficult readings (Illness, Loss, Despotism, Lawsuit, Fatality, Cloister…), so most beginners benefit from learning them as a coherent dark group rather than as scattered negative entries. The mnemonic that works best: each planet is a tonality (Jupiter = the great yes, Saturn = the necessary no, Venus = the heart, Mars = the body, Mercury = the messenger, Sun = the public stage, Moon = the inner tide).
