Our vision

OracleNova does not consider cartomancy as a means of predicting future events. The cards do not «know» what will happen. They have no causal power over a life, a relationship or a decision.

What a card or a hexagram can do is offer a frame. A frame to take a step back, name what is unresolved, give shape to a feeling that was still fuzzy, or test a hypothesis we did not dare articulate. In that sense, divination is closer to journaling, meditation or a frank conversation with a friend than to a forecast.

This stance shapes every line of content on the site. Card descriptions never say «you will meet someone in three months». They explore meaning, ambivalence and questions to ask oneself.

Editorial commitments

OracleNova commits to:

• No deterministic prediction. The site never states that a drawn card guarantees a future event. The wording always preserves the reader's agency and choice.
• Acknowledging ambiguity. A card has multiple readings depending on context. The site presents these readings as a palette of hypotheses, not as a fixed verdict.
• Crediting sources. When the site relies on a deck (Work Your Light by Rebecca Campbell, Moonology by Yasmin Boland, etc.) or on a known cartomantic tradition, the source is named.
• No fear-based language. Even when a card carries a difficult symbolism (the Coffin, the Scythe, the 23rd hexagram «Stripping Away»), the wording explains the symbol without using fear to capture attention.
• Distinct daily card. The daily card is offered as an inspiration prompt, not as a horoscope to be «right» or «wrong».

What OracleNova is not

To set the right expectations, OracleNova is not:

• A substitute for medical advice — a card does not diagnose, treat or guarantee anything regarding physical or mental health
• A substitute for legal or financial advice — a card never validates a contract, an investment or a procedure
• A coaching, therapy or psychological support service — when these competences are needed, qualified professionals must be approached
• A site that promises «exact predictions», «100% guaranteed readings» or «soul mate revealed» — formulations the site refuses on principle

Well-being

If you go through a difficult moment (suicidal thoughts, severe distress, a personal crisis), a card cannot replace a human voice. Get in touch with a professional or with a listening service in your country. In the European Union the European emergency number 112 is also a relay to mental health helplines.

OracleNova does not produce content related to compulsive divination practices. The site does not encourage daily compulsive draws to «check» an outcome — that pattern feeds anxiety rather than resolving it.
